Mr. Anders nodded his head and opened the door for Hannibal. " You have a good day Mr. Hannibal, " He said with a smile and walked back to the group of people that he was with, walking back into his conference.

Jacqueline sat on the sofa and looked around. She filled out her job application and gave it back to the woman at the desk. She smiled and went back to her seat waiting for an interview. She didn't care what job she got, as long as it was one. The will hadn't specified the job.

The woman behind the counter smiled when Jacqueline gave her the application form. The woman took it in her hand and looked it over. She got on the phone and began to call some people, as was her job. She really didn't have to much time for applications at the moment. She did manage to put it at the top of the pile of applications, but she immediatly went to calling poeple. She had to prepare for a rather large party coming in the next day to meet with Mr. Anders in the convention center. She was told that it was of the most urgent manner.
About three o'clock Mr. Anders came out of his conference meeting and noticed Jacqueline still sitting in the chair next to the elevator. He turned to the secretary and asked who it was and she told him that she had filled out an application. Mr. Anders nodded his head and turned to Jacqueline. " You mind stepping into my office for a moment, " He said with a smile.

Mr. Anders had Jacqueline's application in his hand as he walked into his office and sat down in his chair behind his desk. He looked at Jacqueline for a moment not saying anything. He wanted to study her for a moment, see if she was cut out for the type of work she would be doing for him. After a moment he sighed and spoke. " Ok, Jacqueline, impressive application, not going to go through it, wastes time that I don't have. Just tell me why you want this job, why you think you are more qualified for it than anyone else i might find and what lenghts you are willig to go through in the job to keep costumers and me happy, " He said calmly, looking at her for an answer.

She thought for a moment and decided that true answers would be the best. "You seem very busy so I will try and keep it short. I want this job, because I need fun and excitement in my life. Also I need a job to be able to collect some inheritance money. I think I am more qualified because I know what costumers want and I know how to give it to them. I am willing to do anything to get this job and keep it." She clasped her hands behind her back and looked at him waiting to see if he would want more explanations.

Mr. Anders gave a slight laugh as he heard what she said. " I'm sorry couldn't help but chuckle. You know besides the whole, inheritance thing, you sound like every single other person that has every filed an application. I am the most qualified because I know what the customers what and bla bla. You know what most normal customers, but I don't have normal customers in my office. They are very established and extremely wealthy bussiness men, which deserved to be treated with, how shall I say this, greater respect than most. You see, how can I possibly know that you are any more cut out to give them that sort of respect more than anyone else that wanders in here, " Mr. Anders said calmly.

"I am from that class. I know what sort of respect they deserve, sir." She smiled. "If you have any doubts, I am sure your customers can tell you that your doubts were ungrounded."

Mr. Anders gave a smile when she heard Jacqueline's reply. " Well, if you know about that side, then why is it that you are applying for a job. Shouldn't be more than set financially?" Mr. Anders said with a smile, leaning back in his chair.

She sighed. "My father died last week and in his will he put conditions on my getting the family fortune. He said that he'd pay for any house to be built where I move, but before I get any more money than what is needed to live I had to keep a job for a month."

Mr. Anders gave a chuckle as he heard what Jacqueline said. " Well that is unfortunate for you. You are lucky that I am a charitable and hospicable man." Mr. Anders said with a smile. " You can start on Monday," he said and stood up from his chair.

Mr. Anders nodded his head. He took her hand and shook it before he turned and walked back into the conference room he had come from. He was shaking his head and laughing to himself as he went.
